Seema Sohi

Seema Sohi is a 2024-2026 Andrew Carnegie Fellow and Associate Professor of Ethnic Studies. Her current research focuses on the history of the environmental justice movement in the United States, with a specific focus on the Black, Indigenous, Asian American, and Latina women who have been the leaders of environmental justice for decades. She currently serves as a Faculty Fellow and a Curriculum Ambassador at the SPIKE Center for Sustainable Education. She is also a faculty affiliate in the Department of History and the Center of the American West.
