Research Interests

Broadly, Natalie's work probes the human dimensions of climate change adaptation and risk management. She is interested in how individuals and groups are making decisions to adapt to climate change impacts, and how cognitive factors influence individual and collective decision-making. To date, much of her work has focused on wildfire risk and decision-making in Colorado.
