Bio
Brooke Chase (she/her) is a PhD student advised by Dr. Tyler Jones and Dr. Cassandra Brooks, studying how climate variability evolves across different timescales. Her research focuses on resampling and analyzing the Greenland Ice Sheet Project 2 (GISP2) ice core at millimeter resolution. Originally sampled at meter resolution in the 1990s, this new high-resolution dataset allows for an investigation of shorter timescale climate variability (i.e., seasonal, annual, interannual, and decadal patterns).
