Bio
Blanca Hinojosa is an MS student in Environmental Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder, focusing on environmental pollution and justice on Indigenous lands. Her research integrates environmental science and legal scholarship to address issues of water contamination, hazardous site regulation, and policy reform. She specializes in developing culturally informed approaches to environmental regulation that center on the needs of historically marginalized communities while also understanding the ecological bridge within the scope of the problem.
Research Interests
Blanca's research interest are on long term environmental contamination and the policies that govern environmental regulation, with an emphasis on taking a holistic approach to understanding complex environmental challenges
