What does “responsible engineering” mean today? How do new technological developments and social changes affect what is required for technical competence, protecting the public, and satisfying employer and client expectations? Explore these questions with Glen Miller, an instructional professor from Texas A&M with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a doctorate in philosophy. 

Help us make the Engineering Connections the best it can be. In these two focus groups, you’ll be able to share your experience living in the community and how we can best support engineering student academics and growth in the future. Free Qdoba taco bar for all attendees, space is limited, so please RSVP!

The University of Colorado Engineering Council (UCEC) is accepting board of director applications for the 2024-25 academic year! The board of directors oversees various committees and covers a variety of areas, working together to address students’ concerns and needs.

As a team, the goal is to enhance fellow engineers' college experience by planning events that nurture relationships. They are looking for students eager to improve the engineering student experience and gain leadership skills. Please email ucec@colorado.edu with any questions.

Made for students and led by students! Join others in their productive zone and get stuff done! Your Engineering Academic Success Team and Peer Academic Coaches host this open study hall every Tuesday. Stay focused and study effectively when working around others who are doing the same! We will be using a timing tool that allows for study/work sessions with strategic short breaks. Drop-in anytime. Free educational tools and snacks provided!

Create a study plan and discuss the most effective study strategies! Sign up for a meeting with a Peer Academic Coach or drop in for 15 minutes! PACs are available Monday (10 a.m.-1 p.m.) and Thursdays (1:30-3:30 p.m.) in the BOLD Center and Tuesdays (2:30-4:30 p.m.), Wednesdays (11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.) and Thursdays (11 a.m.-noon) in the Engineering Hub (ECNW 150D)! 

Peer Academic Coaches are current undergraduate engineering students trained in research-based academic skills. They can help you explore tools and strategies to use for your engineering assignments, projects and preparing for exams.
