At the event, you'll hear from a panel of alumnae leaders from Ball Aerospace, Keysight Technologies, National Center for Women & Information Technology and SynEnergy who have excelled through different stages in their careers and even started their own companies! How do new technological developments and social changes affect what is required for technical competence, protecting the public, and satisfying employer and client expectations? Explore these questions with Glen Miller, an instructional professor from Texas A&M with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a doctorate in philosophy.

Join others in their productive zone and get stuff done! Your Engineering Academic Success Team and Peer Academic Coaches are hosting Accountability Study Halls. Stay focused and study effectively when working around others who are doing the same. We will be using a timing tool that allows for study/work sessions with strategic short breaks. Drop-in anytime. Free educational tools and snacks provided!

Did you know that one of the best ways to prepare for your exams is to practice in a simulated environment of the actual exam? The College of Engineering and Applied Science is committed to giving students opportunities to do that! Meet fellow engineering students and work through solutions with your peers and with the support of teaching assistants. 

• Proctored and timed  
• Takes place in the classroom   
• Solutions provided once finished

Create a study plan and discuss the most effective study strategies! Sign up for a meeting with a Peer Academic Coach or drop in for 15 minutes! PACs are available Monday (10 a.m.-1 p.m.) and Thursdays (1:30-3:30 p.m.) in the BOLD Center and Tuesdays (2:30-4:30 p.m.), Wednesdays (11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.) and Thursdays (11 a.m.-noon) in the Engineering Hub (ECNW 150D)! 

Peer Academic Coaches are current undergraduate engineering students trained in research-based academic skills. They can help you explore tools and strategies to use for your engineering assignments, projects and preparing for exams.

• Free Tutoring in the BOLD Center: BOLD tutoring services are free and available to all CU Engineering students. They offer in-person drop-in tutoring and appointment-based tutoring in calculus, physics, computer science and more. 
• The Academic Help Room is Open: For spring 2024, the help room will be in Will Vill East, Room 103. Hours are Sundays through Thursdays from 5-9 p.m. for help with APPM courses, as well as 6-8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays to help with PHYS courses.
