YOU'RE @ CU is a 1.0 credit seminar course on research practices starting Jan. 22, 2024 which will meet on Mondays from 2:30-3:20 p.m. Be paired with a graduate student to work on research projects for 3-5 hours per week. The annual IDE Design Expo celebrates innovative engineering projects created by first-, second- and third-year students across majors. Multidisciplinary student teams use a wide variety of skills to make proposed solutions to real-world challenges. Check out the Expo on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. located at all 3 levels of the ITLL and surrounding courtyard.

The Certificate Program in Engineering, Ethics & Society welcomes students from across the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Join a community of students interested in the role of engineering and technology in society, write about the wider ethical implications of engineering and science and get published.

If chosen, you'll receive a $500 scholarship. You must also apply to be a part of the Certificate Program in Engineering, Ethics & Society to be considered for the fellowship.

Hermeus Info Session on Mon., Dec. 4

Hermeus is a startup developing hypersonic aircraft to radically accelerate air travel. At Mach 5, more than twice the speed of the supersonic Concorde, passengers will be able to cross the Atlantic in 90 minutes. Hermeus is partnering with government agencies including the US Air Force and NASA to develop a series of autonomous aircraft that de-risk the technology and solve urgent national security challenges.

Marlin Jacobson, Structures Engineer (and former CU Boulder alum) & Ashley Park, Technical Recruiter, will provide a technical overview of Hermeus’ accomplishments and upcoming milestones, as well as discuss full-time and internship opportunities.
