co-founder | unspun

Current city: San Francisco, CA

My career path: I ran a robotic camera motion startup throughout undergrad, and knew I wanted to work on a large-scale robotics company after graduation. Though I wasn't planning to start a company, I met my would-be co-founders a few weeks after graduation at CU, and we officially launched unspun shortly after that. Born from a sponsored ME Senior Design Project as a first prototype, unspun is now a venture-backed company based in San Francisco and Hong Kong, building the next generation of customized, seamless, and automated apparel manufacturing.

My interest in becoming a Regional Network Ambassador: I joined the RNA program to help bridge the gap between current CU students and alumni working in the startup world. San Francisco is the second largest alumni network (next to Boulder/Denver), and there are tons of amazing Buffs working on exciting early-stage startups with incredible opportunities for hungry and energized recent grads. I wished I had a local connection to Silicon Valley when I left CU, and I want to be that warm intro for any other soon-graduates.
