Why CU Boulder? I chose CU Boulder because they have one of the best engineering graduate programs in the nation. Already being a resident of Colorado, it was an easy choice. I wanted to stay close to the mountains and really enjoyed what I would call the big town experience of Boulder. It also helps that I can still drive an hour and be skiing in the winter or camping in the summer!

Why serve on the GSAB? I have really enjoyed the short time that I have been here and wanted to be more active with the grad school and give back. Most other students in my program are working full time and married with kids so I noticed there was a lack of representation. With me being a full-time student I realized I can be an active member for my program and help the grad school as well as my fellow classmates. I hope to be able to make the GSAB a strong organization again and be more active with students and the school.

Favorite thing about CU Boulder? The weather! I like the cold snowy winters and the long hot summers. I can’t wait to explore more of Boulder and the area.
