Fernando Rosario-Ortiz
Shay Family Faculty Fellow

Fernando Rosario-Ortiz is an associate professor of Environmental Engineering in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Architecture Engineering and the Shay Family Faculty Fellow. He earned his doctoral degree from the Environmental Science and Engineering Program at UCLA and BS and MS in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico and the California Institute of Technology, respectively. His research focuses on the study of watershed perturbations on water quality, environmental photochemistry and oxidation chemistry. Rosario-Ortiz received the National Science Foundation’s prestigious Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award in 2015.
