Giving

The Campos Student Center is a vibrant and inclusive community of engineering students developing innovative leaders for an interconnected global economy in science and technology.

Thanks to the support from supporters like you, the Campos Student Center is able to provide programming and resources like our scholarships, academic services and affinity-based student societies. Together, we can reach out to even more of today’s bright students to build a more competitive and innovative engineering workforce for our nation’s future.

With Gratitude to Marco Campos and the Campos Foundation

Marco Campos portrait

As a first-generation college student and CU Engineering alumnus, Marco Campos (CivEngr’98) understands firsthand the power of opportunity and community. Shaped by his experiences at CU Boulder, Marco built a successful career grounded in the values he developed here through hard work, mentorship and leadership. His journey from the west side of Denver to leading a multinational engineering company continues to inspire the next generation of students.

Driven by a strong commitment to give back, Marco established the Campos Foundation and has remained a long-time supporter of students and programs of the college. Through a transformative $5 million gift from the Campos Foundation led by Deanna Campos-Miller (Span, Jour’99), the Campos Student Center will support scholars and student societies through scholarships, programming and academic services to broaden student access to opportunity, leadership and community.

Beyond CU Boulder, the Campos Foundation’s impact extends nationwide, through the hard work and dedication of Campos Companies’ nearly 800 employees. Each year, more than 7,000 students benefit from STEM education initiatives, summer bridge programs and scholarships. Marco and the Foundation’s vision are building future engineers and scientists here at CU Engineering and beyond.
