Nominate a Faculty or Staff Member Who Has Made an Impact on You

As you reflect upon your academic journey so far, is there a College of Engineering & Applied Science staff member who has made a positive impact on you or other students? Consider nominating them by April 18 for: 

  • Undergraduate Student Support Professional Award: This award recognizes up to two undergraduate student support professionals annually who demonstrate exceptional skills in service to undergraduate students.
  • Student Support Professional Rising Star Award: This award recognizes up to two graduate or undergraduate student support staff professionals early in their career who demonstrate dedication and quality of performance in the area of student support. Staff members are eligible if they have been employed in the College of Engineering and Applied Science from 1-3 years. 

Nominations for the above awards need to address: 

  • In what ways does the nominee go above and beyond their role to assist you or other students? [1,500 character limit]
  • In what ways has the nominee's work had a lasting impact on student success? [1,500 character limit]
  • What sets this nominee apart as an outstanding candidate for this award? [1,500 character limit]
  • Share any additional comments, stories, or examples that further highlight the nominee’s contributions. [1,500 character limit] 

And if you’ve been involved in research, also consider nominating your sponsoring faculty member by April 18 for:

  • How did this faculty advisor/mentor support you when you faced challenges?
  • How has the support of this advisor/mentor positively impacted your experience?
  • What qualities make this faculty advisor deserving of recognition?
