Our college also will be improved through the research efforts of Violet Mwaffo (ME), who has been selected as a participant in the University of Colorado Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program for 2017 and the movement of Associate Professor Alaa Ahmed’s research program and connection within ME (Ahmed also will have an appointment in ATLAS).
I also am pleased to report that four faculty already have signed on as hires in the 2017-18 academic year (one in ATLAS, one in CS and two in ME). With more good news on the horizon, this academic year is shaping up to be another strong one for the growth of the faculty in our college.
