Graduation Checklist 

All of your steps toward graduation in one place. We’ve created a to-do list to make sure your graduation paperwork is all set. 

Applying to Graduate 

Applying to graduate gets your name in the program and tells our advisors to certify whether or not you can graduate.

Commencement 

Our campus-wide ceremony is held in early May. Get the details on the commencement website.

Checking Your Audit 

After registering for your last semester, run a degree audit.  Everything should be green or blue indicating your last semester of courses will complete your requirements.  If you see anything red, reach out to your advisor!   
 

Milestones

We want you to focus on celebrating. Get your advisor’s confirmation that everything looks good to graduate, and spend more time remembering the distance you’ve come at CU Boulder!

Be sure you apply to graduate early on.

Check our commencement page and help your family make travel plans.

Make sure your degree audit is entirely green (and ask your advisor to double check).

Enjoy both the large ceremony and individual ceremonies offered by departments and programs.
