Welcome to the GradCO Professional Development Series. Founded in 2020, GradCO is a collaboration of universities across Colorado. It is designed to deliver a variety of high-quality professional development workshops, information sessions, and trainings to our graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. 

The Rocky Mountain Indian Chamber of Commerce has a scholarship opportunity available, and they would like to invite CU Boulder Native American students to apply. The application deadline is Thurs. October 31, 2024.

Applicants must complete an online form, that includes short answer questions, and asks students to include the following documents:

• proof of tribal enrollment
• current transcripts and course schedule
• two letters of recommendation

The International Students and Professional in Aerospace (ISPA) association is happy to host the ISPA Coffee Hour: a monthly meeting to learn useful resources for international and get to know your community! The coffee hour will be held in AERO N253, from 9 - 10.30 AM on:

This workshop is designed to help international graduate students navigate the US academic culture of classroom participation, specifically through asking and answering questions. Tailored for graduate students serving or preparing to serve as Teaching Assistants (TAs), the session will cover strategies for fielding student questions, providing appropriate responses, and asking insightful questions and follow-up questions to gauge student comprehension.

Greetings from Science Under the Dome at Fiske Planetarium! 

We are seeking interested graduate students and postdocs to present a talk at Fiske Planetarium in our Science Under the Dome talk series for the upcoming Spring 2025 semester. SciDome offers you the opportunity to develop a talk on a wide variety of scientific topics (beyond just astronomy!) for a broad public audience of both students and members of the community. We have three tracks: The Science of Sci-Fi, Science and Society, and Climate Change in Our Backyard. We require that your talk not be based primarily on your active research.
