Smead Aerospace Student News - Oct. 7

Joshua Kassel has been announced as a winner of a 2025 AIAA Foundation scholarship. Kassel is receiving the Mary W. Jackson Scholarship, which recognizes outstanding aerospace students at US institutions.

Iain Boyd was interviewed in a new feature article from Aerospace America. The piece discusses efforts to develop hypersonic vehicles for commercial and military applications.

Natasha Bosanac and Francisco López Jiménez have both been announced as AIAA Associate Fellows. AIAA will formally recognize all of the Class of 2026 members at SciTech in January.

The College of Engineering and Applied Science will hold a graduation ceremony on Saturday, December 13 at 10 a.m. in Macky Auditorium (1595 Pleasant St, Boulder, CO 80309). 

Smead Aerospace will also hold a special reception following the ceremony.

The apply for graduation deadline for grad students has passed, but undergrads can apply up to 12/5.

Lockheed Martin will be hosting a virtual interview event October 15, 2025,
between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm ET. Application Deadline - Oct. 9 

We will be interviewing for full-time and internship positions.
