Double honors from the Aerospace Medical Association

Two from Smead Aerospace have been recognized with 2025 awards from the Aerospace Medical Association:

Torin Clark received the Kent K. Gillingham Award, which is presented to someone who has made a significant contribution in the field of spatial disorientation and situation awareness related to flight.
Post-doctoral researcher Aaron Allred (AeroEngr MS'21, PhD'24) won the "Space Medicine Association Journal Publication Award" for a paper he co-authored on measuring post spaceflight hand-eye coordination impairment using augmented reality.

Rocky Mountain Workshop on Control and Autonomy

The Rocky Mountain Workshop on Control and Autonomy will be held July 11 at CU Boulder.

The workshop will feature plenary talks by Jeff Shamma (UIUC) and Manxi Wu (UC Berkeley), special contributions from industry and a national lab, and a poster session for students to share their work. Lunch and parking will be provided for all attendees.
