Chu delivers Distinguished Lecture at AOGS

Xinzhao Chu gave a Distinguished Lecture in Singapore at the 2025 Asia Oceania Geosciences Society conference Solar-Terrestrial (ST) Science Section. She was nominated to address the conference by a colleague. Her presentation was titled “Exploring the Geospace-Atmosphere System with LIDAR."

USGIF - Upcoming Events

Tuesday, August 19th from 2:00 - 5:00 pm in Colorado Springs, CO for event Spatial Edge. The theme is “Unique Approaches to Emergent NORTHCOM GEOINT Missions”, and the event will highlight NORTHCOM’s evolving mission set and where GEOINT capabilities can be applied to its wide-ranging missions. It will feature a keynote from Brigadier General Gorski, Director of Intelligence, U.S. Northern Command, as well as a panel on counter-UAS capabilities.

Wednesday, August 20th, 8:00 - 11:00 am at the CSU Global Campus (555 17th Street, 3rd floor, Denver CO 80202. USGIF will host Lifting Leaders, USGIF’s newest leadership series that aims to develop effective geospatial leaders who can drive organizational success and navigate challenging times.

A graduate degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering (Master or PhD), or a related field is welcome, but a long career with industrial experience is strongly recommended and highly desired.
