The CSIM CubeSat reentered Earth's atmosphere earlier this month, but not before a team of students were able to reestablish contact with the old satellite and initiate late-breaking research on VLEO.

Partnerships for Informal Science Education in the Community is the longstanding outreach program run by JILA and the Physics Department. We are a community partnership-based outreach program that brings CU volunteers to local schools weekly throughout the semester to engage with students around fun, inquiry-based science activities and engineering projects. 

As a PISEC volunteer you will gain valuable experience in scientific communication, mentorship, and teaching. Not to mention the opportunity to build community and have fun doing science experiments with kids!
