Smead Aerospace Faculty/Staff News - Aerospace Fac/Staff Newsletter - July 11

Three Smead Aerospace students have been named 2023 Draper Scholars. The program provides recipients with the opportunity to work at Draper’s campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts, conducting research and contributing to programs in national security, space systems, biotechnology and strategic systems. Congratulations to:

PhD student Giuliana Miceli (Advisor: Natasha Bosanac) has been named a recipient of the Breakwell Student Paper Award for the 2023 American Astronautical Society Astrodynamics Specialist Conference. This award will cover part of her travel to the conference to present "Clustering Approach to Identifying Low Lunar Frozen Orbits in a High-Fidelity Model" with coauthors Natasha Bosanac, Michael Mesarch (GSFC), David Folta (GSFC), and Rebecca Mesarch (GSFC).
