Driving directions. The Boulder campus offices of the Department of Aerospace Engineering Sciences are located on the 6th floor of the Engineering Center.
Denver International Airport (DIA) is about 45 miles from campus and can be reached by public transportation using Super Shuttle (303-444-0808) or regional bus departing hourly (RTD). Most major car rental agencies are also at DIA. If you are driving from DIA, take I-70 West to I-270 North, then follow exit signs to US-36 West (Boulder). It takes about an hour or slightly longer, depending on traffic. US-36 becomes 28th Street as you enter Boulder. The first light you will come to is at the intersection of 28th Street and Colorado Avenue, which leads into the university. Turn left (west) at this light and you will see the Engineering Center on the left, one block further along Colorado Avenue. Parking is available at nearby meters, two-hour limited side streets, or in nearby lots with a prearranged permit.
