“The 2020 Colorado Summer Seminar has been a formative experience in my philosophical development. It is a high-level, fast-paced, and interesting seminar packed with interesting topics to discuss everyday with a highly talented group of philosophy students from all over the world. Although I would have really enjoyed meeting everyone in person, the virtual seminar worked out really well because there were ample opportunities for participants to be engaged in talks outside of lectures and also communicating outside of class (via Discord). In addition, I really liked how we were able to listen to prominent philosophers (such as David Chalmers, Susan Wolf, Peter Singer) give talks to us over Zoom, which would not have been possible if the seminar was in person."
