This fall, the College of Music continues its excellence in performance and education while health and safety remain top priorities.

“When I’m singing or studying music, everything else in the world just melts away,” says Sue Baer. “It’s all I think about. It nourishes my spirit.”

Universities must be a beacon of progress in times of social change, and the College of Music must help underscore that story.

“We’re very fortunate in Boulder to have the College of Music and the Boulder Phil. Even before my husband and I began attending Takács concerts, we enjoyed the CU Symphony and faculty recitals—all told, an incredible resource in our own backyard, including many free performances. I’m proud that our community has the College of Music and I’m happy to support it in any way I can.”

The Lullaby Project pairs new parents with professional musicians to create a customized lullaby for their new baby in a process that forms strong parent-child bonds and fosters early childhood development. It comes to the College of Music this spring.
