ENVS PhD Student Recipient of Prestigious Scholarship to Study Krill in the Southern Ocean

ENVS PhD student, Zephyr Sylvester, has been named the 2022-23 recipient of the prestigious CCAMLR Scientific Scholarship Scheme! The $30k award will support Zephyr's research that investigates how climate change mechanisms could affect phytoplankton and zooplankton productivity in the Southern Ocean to potentially drive changes in community composition and trophic transfer of energy up the food chain by funding travel to CCAMLR meetings over a two-year period.
