The University of Colorado Boulder College of Engineering and Applied Science is proud to be on the forefront of leveraging Colorado's engineering talent by partnering with other universities.
Through a collaboration between Western Colorado University and the University of Colorado Boulder College of Engineering and Applied Science, students will be able to obtain bachelor's of science degrees in computer science or mechanical engineering as graduates of the University of Colorado Boulder. With this partnership, they will have the opportunity to complete their first two years as Western students, and the balance of their education as University of Colorado Boulder students, all while remaining on the Western campus in Gunnison, Colorado. Graduates in the partnership will receive a bachelor of science degree and diploma from the University of Colorado Boulder College of Engineering and Applied Science.
Our partnership program with Colorado Mesa University gives students the chance to earn a CU Boulder engineering degree entirely in Grand Junction. The first two years of the program are taught by CMU faculty and the second two years are taught by CU Boulder faculty who live in Grand Junction. The partnership follows the same hands-on curriculum for civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical and computer engineering at CU Boulder, culminating in a year-long senior design project.
