Chat with Working Engineers at Engineer Library

Engineer Library event flyer
Are you unclear about your career, unsure or undecided about your major? We invite you to attend the Engineer Library on February 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the upper floor of the Gemmill Engineering, Math & Physics library, in the Math Building.

This is an open-house style event where you can meet engineers from diverse backgrounds and careers. Chat with an engineer and learn what they love about their job and the challenges they face. We’ll even provide questions for you to ask to get you started.

There’s no pressure, no jobs are on offer and no networking is needed. This is an opportunity to talk to someone who has made engineering their profession and can tell you about the opportunities, challenges and rewards.

Please register in advance, but walk-ins are welcome! We hope to see you there!

This event was sponsored with a grant from The BOLD Center's Innovative Inclusive Ideas and with additional funding from the University Libraries.

Mark Locy is the Outreach and Student Success Specialist at Gemmill Engineering, Mathematics & Physics Library.
