A woman rides her bike along a Boulder backroad. The Buffalo Bicycle Classic, a series of bicycle and running events to raise money for students, now supports scholarships for students in CU Engineering!

Since 2003, this cycling fundraiser has provided more than $3 million in scholarships for CU Boulder students. This year, on Sept. 10, you can have fun riding the course while also helping engineering students who exhibit profound financial need and merit.

To support CU Engineering, choose “ENGINEERING” under Group/Team when you register. Every fundraising dollar the team receives will go back to the College of Engineering and Applied Science scholarship program.

At check-out, you can also use the coupon code “ENGINEERING17” for $30 off your entire purchase. Don’t wait to register, as the cost of registration will incrementally increase as we get closer to ride day.

If you’re not a bike rider, you can still donate to the Classic and support our students.

If you have questions, you can contact Buffalo Bicycle Classic manager Rosie Allen at 303-735-1569.

Gretchen Lee is the scholarship coordinator for the College of Engineering and Applied Science.
