Earning a certificate in a specialized area of engineering allows you to broaden your knowledge base beyond your primary area of study. Certificate options are available in the following areas:

Global Engineering
Undergraduate certificate focusing on international teamwork, including understanding global economics and governance, international development, and conversational foreign language skills

International Engineering
Undergraduate certificates focusing on language and culture, in German, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese and Japanese

Engineering Leadership
Undergraduate certificate in leadership, project management, and/or global perspectives

Engineering for Developing Communities
Graduate certificate offered by the Mortenson Center in Engineering for Developing Communities

Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering
Professional certificates in embedded systems, software engineering, and power electronics offered by the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering

Telecommunications
Professional certificates in energy communication networks, network architecture, telecommunications policy, computer and network security, and wireless networks offered by the Interdisciplinary Telecommunications Program

Engineering Management & Entrepreneurship
Various undergraduate and graduate certificates offered by the Engineering Management Program

Energy
Undergraduate certificate and graduate certificate offered by the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute

Digital Media
Undergraduate certificate and various post-graduate BDW programs offered by the ATLAS Institute

Engineering, Science, and Society
Undergraduate certificate offered by the Herbst Humanities Program

Distance Education
