The University of Colorado has thus launched a $1.5 billion comprehensive fundraising campaign—the biggest in university history—to lay the groundwork for our success. The campaign will enable CU to continue to provide students with access to a world-class education and augment the university’s role as an economic driver and generator of knowledge. Our college's portion of this overall goal is $75 million.

Learning and Teaching — Initiatives that provide experiential and customized experiences for students
Through initiatives such as our Integrated Teaching and Learning Program, and Earn-Learn and Discovery Learning apprenticeships, more students are succeeding in engineering and getting support for their education.
Discovery and Innovation — Engineering research that breaks down traditional boundaries to solve the toughest challenges
We emphasize interdisciplinary research because we believe global issues such as health, environment, and energy require the concerted efforts of individuals from multiple disciplines working together.
Community and Culture — Activities that support and engage students from a variety of backgrounds
We are taking a national lead in pre-collegiate engineering education to inspire and prepare a broad range of K-12 students for engineering study and future careers. Within the college, our BOLD Center takes an inclusive approach to promoting student success and retention.
Health and Wellness — Breakthroughs that improve and extend our lives
From the new biotechnology building, which will enhance interdisciplinary science and engineering discovery, to our unique Mortenson Center in Engineering for Developing Communities, we are advancing human health and wellness around the world.
