DEAA 2017 winners announced

CU Engineering has selected five outstanding individuals to honor with the 2017 Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award and one to receive the Recent Alumni Award. These are the highest honors bestowed by the college each year, and the recipients will be recognized at a banquet April 28. Learn more about the awards.

Distinguished Engineering Alumni Awards

  • Ron Blackwelder (AeroEngr'64), professor emeritus, Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, University of Southern California, for Education
  • Marco Campos (CivEngr'98), founder and managing principal, Campos EPC, for Industry and Commerce
  • Robert H. Davis, Tisone professor and immediate past dean, in the Special category for non-alumni
  • Lisa Glatch (ChemEngr'84), executive vice president and board director, CH2M, for Industry and Commerce
  • Richard Taylor (CompSci MS'76, PhD'80), professor emeritus of Information and Computer Sciences, University of California, Irvine, for Education

  • Jill Seubert (AeroEngr PhD'11), navigation and mission design engineer, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory
