Spring break is just around the corner. Many campus services, including dining, bus transportation and residence hall front desk hours, will be reduced throughout spring break. Whether you live on or off campus, are staying in Boulder or heading out of town, take a moment to review some reminders.

The next wave of female-driven innovation was on full display at a recent New Venture Challenge event, where five ventures pitched startups involving 3D-printed dental aligners, camps for at-risk kids negatively impacted by social media, a mental health app for college students, a data platform for small-scale social media influencers and more.

History overlooked Lucile Berkeley Buchanan, the first African American woman to graduate from the University of Colorado. A dogged CU journalist, Polly McLean, brought her back to the fore.

CU Boulder’s precollege programming and high-impact physics research and education will receive additional funding as part of the recently passed $1.5 trillion federal appropriations omnibus bill for the 2022 fiscal year.
