We want to ensure you have access to basic resources, so you can prioritize focusing on your classes and future career goals. The on-campus resources below can help you manage your overall health and wellbeing while navigating university life.
On-campus resources to support your overall health and wellbeing.
- Counseling & Psychiatric Services (CAPS): Confidential, on-campus psychiatric services
- Disability Services: Provides students with disabilities accommodations and services
- Health Promotion: Outreach and education on a variety of health topics
- Faculty & Staff Assistance Program (FSAP): Provides CU Boulder employees with counseling
- Medical Services: Serves CU Boulder students’ health care needs
- Office of Victim Assistance (OVA): Serves CU Boulder students, faculty and staff with confidential, trauma-focused counseling
Resources to help as you navigate financing your degree and life changes.
- Office of Institutional Equity & Compliance (OIEC): Provides help in the event of discrimination, harassment, sexual assault and/or misconduct
- Office of Financial Aid: Assists students with applying for aid
- Student Legal Services: An on-campus law office serving CU Boulder students
- Student Outreach, Advocacy & Support (SOAS): Provides individual student support
Options and services to assist you with getting around the CU Boulder campus, Boulder County and the Denver metro area.
- Bus: Your Buff OneCard provides free access to RTD bus routes in the Boulder and Denver area. Part-time students can get $90 semester passes. RTD also has Access-A-Ride to provide transportation to people with disabilities.
- Bike: Rent a bike through the CU Bike Rental program or access a Boulder BCycle for free (students) or reduced rates (faculty/staff). The annual CU Bike Fest also sells bikes at affordable prices. Learn how to ride a bike with the Environmental Center.
- Scooter: Lime Access gives free access to Lime scooters if trips are 30 minutes or less. Eligibility includes recipients of SNAP, Medicaid, Pell Grants and more. Check the Lime Access website to see if you qualify and apply!
- Late-night transportation: CU NightRide is CU Boulder’s student-operated safe-ride service that allows you to request free, evening transportation to and from any location within Boulder city limits.
- Carpooling: Create carpool groups with WaytoGo or Vanpool (faculty/staff).
- Parking: Parking permits are low-cost for front-line service employees. Contact ParkingPermits@colorado.edu for more details.
- Parking and Transportation Services: Assists with campus transportation and parking.

- Staff and faculty can also get a ride for emergencies through Guaranteed Ride Home.
- Via also offers transportation access if other alternatives aren’t accessible or affordable.
