CU Engage is the University of Colorado Boulder’s Center for Community-Based Learning and Research. CU Engage can support broader impacts for those research teams seeking to develop reciprocal partnerships with community groups, schools, or civic agencies. We support partnership approaches where researchers and community members co-construct research goals and activities to address local challenges or build the capacity of partners, while also co-creating new knowledge. For this initiative, CU Engage can act as a liaison to possible community partners and/or help researchers think through the best ways to approach partnership work in a collaborative and equitable way. CU Engage’s Graduate Fellowship Program offers training to doctoral students in community-based research and could be a partner for your projects.
