The Wellness Suite offers a variety of services to help you lead a healthy, active lifestyle. Services are provided in collaboration with Medical Services at Wardenburg and are available for Rec Center members and day pass holders unless specified otherwise.

Free Flu Shot Clinic 

The Flu Clinic at the Fitness & Wellness Suite will begin on Tuesday, October 1 and run through winter break.

  • Available to: CU students
  • Cost: FREE
  • When: Tuesdays 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesdays 12 to 2 p.m., Thursdays 12 to 2 p.m.

*Students must bring Buff OneCard. No appointment necessary. 

Medical Services also offers walk-in Flu Clinic hours Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
at Wardenburg Health Center.

Students can stop by the Fitness and Wellness Suite for free informal and confidential consultations with a counselor from Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS). No appointments necessary. Available on Wednesdays from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Nutrition Resource Clinic

Students can stop by the Nutrition Resource Clinic in the Fitness & Wellness Suite for a free basic consultation with a registered dietitian nutritionist for a variety of concerns ranging from diabetes/hypoglycemia to disordered eating, food allergies, healthy weight gain or loss, sports nutrition and more.

Students will complete a short questionnaire about eating habits and general health. The dietitian will review the questionnaire, answer questions and provide recommendations, resources and referrals as needed. Provided by Medical Services.

Physical Therapy 

Students can stop by the Fitness & Wellness Suite for informal consultations with licensed physical therapists who can answer questions and provide brief assessments and referrals. Drop-in hours are on Mondays from 4 to 6 p.m.

Students also have access to scheduled Physical Therapy appointments through the Fitness & Wellness Suite to address existing or new concerns. Please call 303-492-6280 to set up an appointment. Physical Therapy accepts both the CU Boulder Gold SHIP and private health insurance plans.

Recreation Injury Care Center

Recreation Services offers drop-in athletic training services for all users of the Recreation Center. During open hours, patrons are welcome to meet one-on-one with an athletic trainer to have an injury evaluated. Services include acute care of injuries, clinical evaluations, therapeutic modalities, education in injury prevention, medical referrals and performance strategies. Athletic taping services are also available, but patrons must provide their own tape which can be purchased at Guest Service for $3.  This is a walk-in clinic only.

Sweat and Learn: Fitness and Nutrition Series 

Gut Health
Many people struggle with an irritated gastrointestinal (GI) tract and don't know why. Join us for 30 minutes of yoga focused on the GI followed by a 30 minute presentation by Jane Reagan, a registered dietitian, about how to eat for a healthy and happy GI tract.
