Fitness and Wellness

Fitness and Wellness (FitWell) is committed to providing quality fitness and wellness opportunities which encourage development, community and lifelong wellbeing. This is done through one-time fitness classes, instruction courses lasting weeks long, personal training opportunities and through our wellness suite.

Group fitness

Small Group Trainings are 4-6 week long training courses focusing on improving specific focus areas. These classes are taught by professionals in their field and are limited to ensure a personalized experience.

CU Boulder employees are able to participate in a variety of free group fitness classes throughout the semester. Classes take place twice per month, and alternate between yoga and strength-based practices. Classes are taught in-person and there is a live-stream option.

Instruction Classes

Choose from a variety of non-credit, fee-based activities appropriate for all levels of experience and fitness. Instruction classes progress in skill and technique throughout the duration of class and range from 6-14 weeks in length.

Wellness Suite

The Wellness Suite offers a variety of services to help you lead a healthy, active lifestyle. Services are provided in collaboration with Medical Services and the Recreation Services.

  • Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 1 to 5 p.m.

Flu Shot Clinic

During flu season, flu shots are offered at The Rec.

Nutrition Resource Clinic

Students can schedule a free appointment with a registered dietitian. The consultation will provide assistance regarding eating habits, answer questions, provide recommendations, resources and referrals as needed.

Physical Therapy

All CU students can schedule an appointment with a physical therapist for detailed examination to address a variety of physical concerns. To schedule an appointment call 303-492-6280.

Recreation Injury Care Center

Recreation Services offers drop-in athletic training services for all users of the Recreation Center.

Massage

Massage therapy can aid in relaxation, stress reduction, sports recovery, improving circulation and decreasing muscle pain.

Let's Talk at the Wellness Suite

Let’s Talk is a free service where CU Boulder students can meet for an informal, brief and confidential consultation with a counselor.
