BUFF BUS RIDER ALERT(s):
  • Buff Bus route changes are in store for the Spring 2020 semester, effective Monday, Jan. 13. This includes creation of a new nonstop route between Bear Creek Apartments and the UMC/CASE stop on Main Campus.

Spring 2020 route information

The Williams Village/Bear Creek bus route operates Monday - Sunday throughout the fall and spring semesters when classes are in session. The route runs clockwise with stops at Bear Creek, Williams Village, Engineering Center, C4C, UMC/CASE, Physics, Math and Colorado/30th Southside.

noon to 2:00 p.m. (every 4-6 minutes)
2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (every 6-8 minutes)
8:00 p.m. to midnight (every 10-12 minutes)

10:00 a.m. - midnight (every 24-26 minutes)

Spring 2020 route information

The Williams Village Limited bus route operates 7 a.m. - noon, Monday - Friday throughout the fall and spring semesters when classes are in session. It operates along the same route as the current Will Vill/Bear Creek route, but does not stop in front of the Bear Creek Apartments or at the UMC/CASE stop. The Will Vill Limited does not run on weekends.

Spring 2020 route information

  • The Bear Creek Express bus route provides direct nonstop service between the Bear Creek Apartments and the UMC/CASE stop on Main Campus from 7 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday. 
  • The bus runs along Baseline Road and Broadway, with no stops between Bear Creek and the CASE building, offering a quicker route for Williams Village and Bear Creek students going to the core of Main Campus. 
  • The Bear Creek Express does not run on weekends.

The Stampede bus route connects Main Campus to the Discovery Drive area of East Campus.

The Marine Street Express is a campus shuttle route connecting the Marine Street area of East Campus to Main Campus. This express route serves two stops along Marine Street and three on Main Campus: the Engineering Center/Lot 436, the Center for Community (C4C) and 18th Street (just south of Euclid Ave).

7:10 a.m. to 5:40 p.m. (every 30 mins) Departures from Marine Street/ARCE at 10 and 40 past the hour. Final bus leaves Marine Street/ARCE at 5:10 with last drop off at 18th/Euclid at 5:24 p.m.  Final bus leaves 18th (just south of Euclid Ave.) at 5:24 p.m with last drop off at Marine Street/ARCE at 5:40 p.m. Departures from UMC at 24 and 54 past the hour.

The HOP bus route is a bi-directional loop that connects campus with downtown Boulder and the 29th Street Mall.  For bus stop locations and details, visit the City of Boulder's website, or download the Transit app.

On football game days both the Williams Village/Bear Creek bus and the Stampede bus alter their routes one hour before football games to one hour after the game. The Williams Village/Bear Creek Football Reroute[1] runs clockwise, and stops at Williams Village, C4C, Regent, Colorado & 30th and Bear Creek.  On basketball game days, the Williams Village/Bear Creek bus alters its route one hour before the game to one hour after the game. The Basketball Reroute[1] runs clockwise, and stops at Williams Village, Regent/Broadway, IMIG, Physics, Math, Colorado & 30th and Bear Creek.

RIDER ALERT:
Norlin Express only runs during finals.
Norlin Express is continuous loop from Bear Creek Apartments/Williams Village to Colorado Avenue/18th Street (Norlin Library drop off/pick up location) every 20 minutes from midnight – 2:00 a.m.

Lost & Found

On the day you lost the item, you may check with any Buff Bus driver to see if the item has been turned in. Found items are turned into Transportation Services' main office at 3205 Marine St. at the end of each day. Call us at 303-735-6244. Found items will be kept for 30 days, after which all unclaimed items will be donated or discarded.
