BUFF BUS RIDER ALERT(s):
  • Buff Bus Service has been modified in response to campus efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19. With the move to remote learning and work arrangements, demand for Buff Bus transit has been significantly reduced as there are fewer students and employees on campus. However, a pair of Buff Bus routes have been deemed critical campus services during this time to accommodate the students, faculty and staff who may still need to utilize them.
  • The modified service schedules are outlined below for each route.

RIDER ALERT:
  • Temporary Operations: Until regular campus operations resume, the Williams Village/Bear Creek bus route will replace the Bear Creek Express and Williams Village Limited, and operate on a reduced schedule.

Spring 2020 route information

The Williams Village/Bear Creek bus route operates Monday - Sunday throughout the fall and spring semesters when classes are in session. The route runs clockwise with stops at Bear Creek, Williams Village, Engineering Center, C4C, UMC/CASE, Physics, Math and Colorado/30th Southside.

Temporary Modified Schedule (beginning Monday, April 13 until regular campus operations resume)

  • Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (every 30 minutes, departing Bear Creek at the top and bottom of the hour) 
  • Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m to 10 p.m. (every 30 minutes)

RIDER ALERT:
  • Temporary Operations: Bear Creek Express and Will Vill Limited service is being replaced with the Williams Village/Bear Creek route until regular campus operations resume.

RIDER ALERT:
  • Temporary Operations: The Stampede buses are operating on a modified schedule (details below) until further notice.

The Stampede bus route connects Main Campus to the Discovery Drive area of East Campus.

Reduced Schedule (beginning Monday, April 6 and until return to normal campus operations)

  • Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. (every 30 minutes). Service is scheduled to depart 18th/Euclid at 17 and 47 past the hour. Buses will depart SEEC at approximately 28 and 58 past the hour.
  • Saturday and Sunday: no service

RIDER ALERT:
  • Temporary Operations: The Marine Street Express bus is out of service beginning Monday, March 23 until regular campus operations resume.

The Marine Street Express is a campus shuttle route connecting the Marine Street area of East Campus to Main Campus. This express route serves two stops along Marine Street and three on Main Campus: the Engineering Center/Lot 436, the Center for Community (C4C) and 18th Street (just south of Euclid Ave).

The HOP bus route is a bi-directional loop that connects campus with downtown Boulder and the 29th Street Mall.  For bus stop locations and details, visit the City of Boulder's website, or download the Transit app.

On football game days both the Williams Village/Bear Creek bus and the Stampede bus alter their routes one hour before football games to one hour after the game. The Williams Village/Bear Creek Football Reroute[1] runs clockwise, and stops at Williams Village, C4C, Regent, Colorado & 30th and Bear Creek.  On basketball game days, the Williams Village/Bear Creek bus alters its route one hour before the game to one hour after the game. The Basketball Reroute[1] runs clockwise, and stops at Williams Village, Regent/Broadway, IMIG, Physics, Math, Colorado & 30th and Bear Creek.

RIDER ALERT:
Norlin Express only runs during finals.
Norlin Express is continuous loop from Bear Creek Apartments/Williams Village to Colorado Avenue/18th Street (Norlin Library drop off/pick up location) every 20 minutes from midnight – 2:00 a.m.

Lost & Found

On the day you lost the item, you may check with any Buff Bus driver to see if the item has been turned in. Found items are turned into Transportation Services' main office at 3205 Marine St. at the end of each day. Call us at 303-735-6244. Found items will be kept for 30 days, after which all unclaimed items will be donated or discarded.
