A U.S. premiere
The CU Boulder Treble Chorus was honored to perform the U.S. premiere of Alexina Louie’s “Rain Makes Its Own Night” last week during the esteemed Canadian composer’s on-campus residency.

On the anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine: The European Music Council, in partnership with the German Composers Association, encourages the following: “We call upon all culture and music events taking place on 24 February 2023, to hold a minute’s silence in solidarity with Ukraine and for all the victims of this terrible war.” As well, the Metropolitan Opera will be livestreaming a concert, “For Ukraine: A Concert of Remembrance and Hope.” Discover more resources about Ukraine and efforts to support its cultural institutions in the Ukraine: Arts and Cultural Heritage research guide.
