Faculty, do you have a great story—or a photo or short video—to share about your current college activities, or the work of a current student or alum? Did you take a photo or capture a short video at a rehearsal or performance to share on the College of Music’s social media channels? You’ve come to the right place!

Submit the brief form at the bottom of this page to share your good news with our College of Music community—including announcements (at least 7 days prior) of upcoming master classes, guest recitals and other public events not already promoted by CU Presents; as well as student and alumni accomplishments, and announcements about your own work, community engagement and recruitment activities. For any impromptu videos you’d like to share (e.g., a few seconds of a rehearsal or a guest master classes, etc.), please email them directly to Sabine Kortals Stein; videos must be under one minute.

Important: Faculty, before submitting any individual names, photos or videos of others to be potentially published on the College of Music website, social media and/or other communications, please review CU Boulder’s directory information guidelines*; if submitting news about students or alumni, specifically, please also include their major and graduation year (or anticipated graduation year). All submissions are subject to editing per the university’s adherence to AP Style and to fit space constraints.

*The College of Music obtains media releases from all students when they enroll, given the likelihood that they could appear in photos and videos from concerts, etc. That said, it’s strongly advisable and good digital etiquette (“netiquette”) to obtain at least verbal consent before publicly sharing identifying information about individual students, alumni and others on social media or other public communications platforms. We do not publish any identifying information involving persons younger than 18 without express parental or guardian consent.
