This form is for CU faculty members to request funding from CLASIC to support CLASIC students engaged in faculty-supervised summer research related to their Capstone projects. CLASIC faculty as well as faculty in affiliated areas who have inspired a student to apply NLP to their area are eligible. 

CLASIC suggests summer employment of 20h per week for 2 ½ months. The hourly pay range should be in keeping with Infrastructure Support (Student Assistant 3) or Research Project Lead (Student Assistant 4) employment profiles, depending on the requirements and skills needed for the research. 

** Prior to submitting this request for funding, please confirm that the student has filled out the CLASIC Professional Internship or Research Agreement (PIRA) form, adquired the necessary signatures, and returned the completed form to their Academic Advisor
