CATSLife was launched in 2015 with support from the National Institutes on Aging. Its parent studies, the internationally renowned Colorado Adoption Project and the Longitudinal Twin Study, form the core of the CATSLife participants recruited to the study. Comparison of findings to other participant samples will be made, primarily the Twins Early Development Study (TEDS).
- Direct estimates of environmental influence provided by the adoptive plus twin sibling design coupled with direct measurement of the environment will allow us to evaluate tests of Gene-Environment correlation and interaction.
