Community Edition Winter 2025

Dear friends of the Graduate School,

This last year has been one of change at the University of Colorado Boulder, particularly on the leadership front. We welcomed a new chancellor in July 2024, and, this past fall, Provost Russell Moore announced his retirement. Given that, we thought it’d be a good opportunity to talk with Provost Moore about the Graduate School’s past, and where he’d like to see it go.

We also have stories on the graduate student winners of the Lab Venture Challenge and profiles of the two Center for African and African American Studies Graduate Fellowship recipients. We hope you enjoy the stories we have picked out and that you connect with us on Facebook, X, Instagram or LinkedIn, or on our website

Please also join us in celebrating our graduate students at this year’s Three Minute Thesis final competition, which will be held in-person and virtually on Feb. 13, 2025.

Sincerely,

Scott Adler

Dean, Graduate School
Vice Provost, Graduate Affairs
