Congratulations Class of 2020, you did it! During this unique time, ENVD has come together to create a special digital recognition to celebrate its graduating seniors.  


 

 

Forever Design Buffs

Columbus, Ohio native Drake Williams will graduate this spring with cum Laude, a business minor and an engineering management certificate.

Riley Chustz a landscape architecture major, with a business minor in entrepreneurship, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana plans to move to Southern California to further her design career.

Sebastian Elverskog, a Texas native, will graduate this year cum laude with an emphasis on architecture.

Architecture major and Summa cum laude graduate Emily Roos combined her love for creating with her interest in the built environment.

Tanner Anthony-Miner, a sustainable planning and urban design major from Colorado Springs, plans to get started on his positive impact after graduation.

Landscape architecture major and summa cum laude graduate Alec Stolz is excited for what's to come after working for DTJ Design this summer.

Architecture major Dominic Large from Fresno, California plans to work for Interplay Lighting as a Rhino and Grasshopper designer.

Architecture major and Colorado native Laurel Chappell was inspired by the intersection between science and art that ENVD offered.

Sacramento, California native Caitlin Berger will graduate this spring with an emphasis on design studies and a lighting design certificate.

Colorado native and architecture major Ethan Miller credits ENVD as a creative environment where he could really share his ideas.

Architecture major and Colorado native Marcus Vazquez knew he wanted to make a difference in the world, and that he could do it through architecture.

Paige Lafferty an environmental product design major from Massachusetts credits ENVD for allowing her to explore different areas of design before choosing a path she felt most confident with.

Kaitlyn Flick, from Phoenix, Arizona, will graduate this year with High Distinction earning the highest GPA in the environmental product design major. Flick was drawn to the creative spirit that ENVD evokes from its students.

Colorado native and architecture major Nicholas Esquibel hopes to eventually have his own development firm to leave the world better than he found it.

Elizabeth Stagnaro, a sustainable planning and urban design major from Colorado Springs, plans to enjoy the outdoors while volunteering for Habitat for Humanity.

Mariah Hilton, an architecture major and lighting design certificate recipient from Montrose, Colorado, loved the environmentally-conscious attitude that came as a priority from ENVD.

Sustainable planning and urban design major Constantine Chrisafis, from Seattle, will graduate magna cum laude and plans to intern with a local Seattle municipality in the fall.

Architecture major Mengxi Xu, from China, was inspired by the interesting and creative majors at ENVD.

Colorado native and architecture major Mallisyn Bruce plans to work at a Boulder architecture firm and attend graduate school in fall 2021.

Ian Klene, a sustainable planning and urban design major from Arvada, Colorado, is working at AECOM in San Francisco as an urban planner and architectural consultant.

Architecture major Alyssa Drain, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, plans to stay in the Boulder/Denver area to pursue design and architecture opportunities before attending graduate school.

Landscape architecture major Ashley Stein, a Colorado native, plans to work for a landscape architecture company in Denver following graduation.

Harry Worsham, an architecture major from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, would like to continue his education with a graduate degree to enhance his professional career.

Architecture major and Colorado native Benjamin Kohut plans to work as an intern at LOA Architecture in Denver.

Sean Cunningham, an architecture major from Kansas City, plans to work towards an architecture license and attend graduate school.

Architecture major and Colorado native Tristan Govreau will graduate with a certificate in lighting design, and plans to attend graduate school at the University of Oregon School of Architecture & Environment.

Marco Rossi an, environmental product design major from Seattle, Washington, would like to design and fabricate for a design-build firm.

Environmental product design major and Colorado native Sam Dorfman plans to buy and sell real estate, renovate properties and work with various types of housing projects after graduation.

Elisa McMillan, a Colorado native and sustainable planning & urban design major, loved the integration of beauty and function that came from environmental design.

Texas native and sustainable planning & urban design major Brandon Rodriguez will be working as a wildland firefighter in Oregon after graduation.

Hallie Chuba, an architecture major from California, plans to attend Columbia GSAPP in the fall.

Architecture major Josie Molasky, from Las Vegas, Nevada, would advise other students to stay true to their hearts and try not to compare themselves to others too harshly, based on what she knows now.

Colorado native Ryan Carroll, an architecture major with a business minor, credits graduating as a huge accomplishment and the first big step to finding herself within her career.

Kari Salter, a Colorado native and environmental product design major, will graduate with distinction.

Architecture major Jack Schildge, from New Jersey, plans to gain experience in the architecture field before attending graduate school.

Grace Tilghman, a sustainable planning & urban design major from Washington D.C., graduated with an urban planning & design certificate from Columbia University GSAPP’s shape of two cities program. She plans to move to NYC to pursue a career in urban design.

Colorado native Emma Peaker, an environmental product design major, would like to explore options in interior design, graphic design and fashion.

Alexandra Pesce, a sustainable planning and urban design major from Connecticut, felt that ENVD encompassed the perfect balance of creativity and mathematics, while also maintaining a tight-knit community.

Colorado native Mahlon Howard, an architecture major, plans to move to Seattle and work for a design team before starting grad school in the fall of 2021.

Regalia, Cords & Medals, Diplomas & Transcripts 

If you wish to purchase a cap and gown, you can order through the CU Book Store by May 3 to ensure delivery before May 16, 2020. 

Transcripts with degrees posted will be available for order after June 5. Diplomas will arrive in the mail on or around June 29. For more information visit the CU Commencement FAQs.

In addition to the standard diploma mailed to all graduates after degrees are posted, CU Boulder is proud to offer the certified electronic diploma (CeDiploma).
