Imagine you are running late for work in the morning and in the distance you see a red light ticket camera and a yellow light. Afraid of getting a ticket, you slam your brakes despite people going through not getting ticketed and are now late for work due to this dilemma. To solve this problem we created the DESTINY (Dilemma Eliminator System That Interprets Next Yellow), a device that will detect the yellow light and will recommend a decision based on your speed and distance from the light. We are using a combination of machine vision, a custom PCB, and hardware including GPS, an SOM, a camera and a LiDAR to help you find your own DESTINY.
