Are you a graduate student or postdoctoral fellow pursuing a Future Faculty Development Certificate through the CTL? OR, are you looking to find more networking opportunities across the state of Colorado? Are you wanting to explore different types of higher education institutions? If so, then join faculty and staff from Metropolitan State University of Denver on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm for an on-campus site visit.

Located in the heart of downtown Denver on the vibrant Auraria Campus, Metropolitan State University of Denver is a dynamic, student-centered urban university dedicated to accessible, hands-on higher education. Known for its diverse student body, innovative academic programs, and deep community integration, MSU Denver pairs academic rigor with real-world workforce connection. A site visit offers an inside look at the university's state-of-the-art facilities, impactful faculty mentorship, and energetic campus life—providing firsthand perspective on how Roadrunners drive innovation, social mobility, and regional impact throughout the Denver metro area.

Participants will attend a campus tour; hear from administrators about campus culture, student population, instruction, research, and service; potentially attend a class; and have a discussion with a faculty member in their field. The site visit is a chance to learn about a different post-secondary institution and practice for future job interviews.

To reserve your place on the site visit, email Preston Cumming (preston.cumming@colorado.edu) with your name, email, & CV labeled with your name by Friday, September 25, 2026.

Please keep in mind that faculty and staff at MSU Denver have graciously offered to host CU participants. If you register to attend, please keep that commitment. We are only able to take 12 participants; there will be a waiting list kept after that number has been reached.
