The JET program is free and designed to be completed in one academic semester. It includes asynchronous coursework on Canvas and readings to support bi-weekly synchronous group discussions, each lasting 1.5 hours. Meetings alternate between in-person and virtual each month. Participants are expected to commit at least 40 hours throughout the semester. The Capstone Project allows participants to create a concrete action plan for implementing equity-minded teaching practices within their discipline. While executing the plan in future semesters is encouraged, it is not required to earn the badge. Past capstone projects can be viewed on CU Scholar.

The cohort limited to 18 applicants on a first come first serve basis. Please apply only if you can commit to being present in meetings for majority if not all of the following Thursdays in Fall 2025:

  • Thursday, Sept 4: 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. | CASE E390
  • Thursday, Sept 18: 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. | On Zoom
