Welcome to the International English Center! We are excited to have you be part of our diverse student body and would love to help you develop your English language skills here at the IEC. Not only do we have excellent language programs and class instruction but we also have ways for you to get involved and support your English language learning.
Your journey begins at the IEC and we hope to connect you to our wonderful community! We offer a variety of social and cultural programming to support our students while studying in beautiful Boulder, Colorado.
IEC students are connected to the University of Colorado Boulder and receive a university ID card (Buff OneCard). With their ID card, students can take advantage of university campus resources, such as the libraries, student clubs, CU events, dining halls, and can purchase a membership to our recreation center.
Throughout the sessions, we offer various IEC events and trips for students to explore Boulder, Denver, and Colorado, participate in events to broaden their understanding of U.S. culture, and get to know their teachers and fellow classmates. In addition, we have IEC student clubs, culture hour, and weekly activities for students to engage and learn more about our outstanding community.
