Welcome to the harp studio at the University of Colorado Boulder College of Music!

The studio maintains two to four students, ranging from undergraduate performance majors to double majors and graduate performance majors. Studio instructor Janet Harriman conducts weekly individual lessons in addition to coaching chamber music ensembles and teaching orchestral repertoire.

We have a very active harp studio that collaborates and participates in ensembles including the College of Music’s Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Opera, Chamber Music and SoundWorks series.

The College of Music is committed to developing universal musicians. Students are expected to balance academic and instrumental excellence, and enjoy opportunities to participate in a range of programs—from the college’s Entrepreneurship Center of Music to classes in the Alexander Technique (offered through our Musicians’ Wellness Program)—or in our world music ensembles.

Scholarships are available for qualified students.
