UROP is an active member of the LEAD Alliance, dedicated to providing equitable access to the research, scholarly and creative activities of the university with outreach and communications aligned with the diversity of student experiences.
All UROP grant funding is open to students in any major and faculty working in any research, scholarly or creative field.
Students can browse the Grant Directory to learn what previous grant recipients have done with UROP funding, see the final products in a UROP-funded publication, and hear the stories behind the projects in The Lightbulb Moment video series produced by Strategic Relations.
The comprehensive UROP Advisory Board convenes regularly to advance undergraduate research, scholarly and creative activities and provide opportunities for underrepresented and underserved students on the CU Boulder campus.
Working with campus and community partners, UROP hosts information sessions, workshops, symposia and other events for students, faculty and staff throughout the year to provide resources, facilitate faculty-student partnerships and share best practices.
UROP recognizes outstanding faculty mentorship with the Faculty Mentor Award at the annual SUEP Scholars Conference.
