Flu clinics coming to campus Oct. 24, 28 and 31
If you missed the first set of campus flu shot clinics, it’s not too late to get a flu shot right on campus. Employee Services will host flu shot clinics for all CU Boulder faculty and staff on Oct. 24, 28 and 31.
Domestic Violence Awareness Month: Warning signs of intimate partner abuse
With October being Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Office of Victim Assistance is sharing some warning signs of intimate partner abuse.
Text 9-1-1 service available
Text messages are accepted by Boulder County’s four 9-1-1 dispatch centers, including the CU Boulder Police Department. While this is a great feature, there are only specific times and reasons to use this type of emergency communication.

Public Achievement brings K-12 students to campus to make social change
More than 100 middle and high school students from Boulder County are joining 35 undergraduates Friday to tour campus and participate in workshops with community and campus organizations to address public issues impacting their communities. The students are part of the Public Achievement (PA) program, a youth-led civic engagement initiative promoting student voice and transformative change.

CU Artist Series: Richard Goode to give intimate solo recital
CU Presents' 80th-anniversary Artist Series continues with an intimate recital by acclaimed American pianist Richard Goode. Hailed by The Washington Post as “one of the finest pianists in the world,” Goode will play a program of Beethoven, Debussy and more at Macky Auditorium on Friday, Oct. 28, at 7:30 p.m.
Keeping it contained: The art and aesthetics of Trevor Paglen
Trevor Paglen is a New York-based artist whose work deliberately blurs lines between science, contemporary art and journalism. He will be giving a presentation on campus on Oct. 26 at 7 p.m.

CU volleyball digs pink Friday
CU volleyball hosts its annual Buffs Beat Cancer Match on Friday. All fans are encouraged to wear pink, and the first 250 fans will receive a free pink T-shirt.
