This weekend brings The Connection grand reopening, DIY air plants and healing crystals, pizza and basketball, a Zumba party, the Fitness Court Winter Games and more.

Head to the newly renovated Connection in the UMC for free food, live music and comedy, free billiards and video games, discounted bowling, a visit from Chip the Buffalo and more! 

CU lacrosse vs. Harvard

4 p.m. Kittredge Field
Support the women's lacrosse team as they take on Harvard in this afternoon match.

International Coffee Hour

 4 p.m.  UMC 
International Coffee Hour is a weekly gathering co-hosted by International Student and Scholar Services and CU International. It's a fun way to unwind at the end of a long week! Come enjoy some free coffee, cake and amazing conversations while meeting awesome new people.

Fri-Yay Nights: Pizza and women’s basketball

6–10 p.m. ECCR 245
Meet up for pizza and then walk over to the CU Events Center to cheer on our Buffs as they take on Arizona State! Entry to the game is free with a Buff OneCard.


Saturday, Feb. 22

Ski bus to Keystone, A-Basin

 6 a.m. Williams Village, 6:15 a.m. Kittredge, 6:30 a.m. Farrand Field  $20
Buy a ski bus ticket for $20 ($10 for Herd members), catch the bus to Keystone and A-Basin and come shred some gnar on the mountain!

Boulder Battle 2020 Climbing Competition

8 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Rec Center, climbing gym
The 2020 Boulder Battle has three heats and finals for the top five men and women climbers. There will be prizes for the top three men and women in the beginner, intermediate and advanced divisions. Register now to participate.

DIY air plants and crystals

11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Rec Center, Wellness Suite 
Come learn about the calming energy of crystals, and take an air plant and crystal home with you. Discover how they can affect our physical and emotional wellbeing, including how they help relieve stress and promote positive energy.

Zumba party

 12:30–2 p.m.  Rec Center, Studio 2
Ditch the workout and join the party! Join Rec Center instructors for 90 minutes of movin’ and shakin’. No experience necessary. This is a free class with your Buff OneCard.

Fitness Court Winter Games

 1–3 p.m.  Rec Center, Fitness Court 
Come challenge yourself on the Fitness Court and cheer on others.  Anyone can compete for prizes during the first ever Winter Fit Court Games!

Fiske laser show: Stranger Things

10 p.m.  Fiske Planetarium  $10
Experience the ’80s tunes and soundscapes from Stranger Things reinterpreted in the vibrant laser lights of Fiske Planetarium.

CU women’s basketball vs. Arizona

Come out for Senior Day/Casino Day and support your Buffs as they take on Arizona! CU students are admitted free with a valid Buff OneCard.
